As we always do with our custom-designed cassettes - we’ve gone with the best durability/lightweight combination ever - we machined 11 cogs out of a hardened steel alloy and attached lightweight CNC machined 52T cog made out of 7075T aluminum alloy

The newest 11-52T 12-speed cassette made by Garbaruk weighs just 333 grams - less than any 12-speed MTB cassette with a similar range. And at the same time you can install our cassette in your existing MTB and use it with the latest 12-speed Shimano drivetrain components. All this makes our cassette an ultimate plug-and-play solution for the modern-day mountain bikers.

Recommended drivetrain setups

We recommend using our 12-speed Shimano-compatible cassette with 1x12-speed SLX, XT and XTR drivetrains(Long Cage (SGS) version is required to work with our 11-52T cassette). However, if you would like to use it with SRAM 12-speed rear derailleur, such setup will also work well. Our 12-speed cassette is compatible with Shimano HG+ 12-speed chain.
